ANNOUNCEMENT AFTER THE NATIONAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION (NEC) CONFERENCE ON 25 SEPTEMBER AT 6 P.M. AT THE SEAT OF NEC
On 25 September at 6 p.m. at the seat of the National Electoral Commission another press conference on the Election Day for the Parliament and the Senate of the Republic of Poland was held.

The Chairman of NEC, based on the data received from
24 990 local electoral commissions out of the total 24
999
local commissions established countrywide informed that as at 4.30 p.m. on 25 September 2005:
- The number of eligible voters in the local polling
stations from which the data was received was 30 274 668 .
- 8 412 232 ballot cards were issued to the eligible
voters, which constitutes 27.79% of the total number of
eligible voters.
