ANNOUNCEMENT AFTER THE NATIONAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION (NEC) CONFERENCE ON 25 SEPTEMBER AT 8 P.M. AT THE SEAT OF NEC

On 25 September at 8 p.m. at the seat of the National Electoral Commission another press conference on the Election Day for the Parliament and the Senate of the Republic of Poland was held.

The Deputy Chairman of the National Electoral Commission announced that the voting in the election to the Parliament of the Republic of Poland countrywide has finished.
Following the resolutions of the local electoral commissions, the voting has been prolonged by an hour (to 9.00 p.m.) in three polling stations – two in Piotrków Trybunalski and one in Bielsko-Biała.

It has been announced that the voting took place in a calm way, with no major disturbances. There were no serious incidents connected with the disturbance of the election silence.
The first announcement of the National Electoral Commission concerning the results of the election will be provided after receiving the information in an electronic way from 10% of the polling stations.
Another announcement, after 30%, will contain predictions concerning the electoral committees which could participate in the division of electoral mandates and the number of mandates obtained by these committees. Further announcements will be made by NEC after receiving the information from 60% and, subsequently, 90% of the polling stations.
